Versatile Outdoor Luminaires Meet Seniors’ Lighting Needs

When it came to outdoor lighting in the 5.12-acre Montaira Affordable Senior Community Development, the priorities were clearly laid out: safety & security, architectural aesthetics, and energy efficiency.

Spaces requiring proper illumination included an outdoor picnic area, walkways and gardens among others. The luminaires selected are expected to decrease any security risks from insufficient lighting and reduce the chances of slips and falls.

NLS Lighting’s TRAC Series luminaries were selected for this project as they were designed to meet the stringent requirements of the architects and specifiers while blending in seamlessly with the apartment complex aesthetics.

The architectural light fixtures feature a sleek, low-profile design with high-performance multi-chip LEDs and IK10 rated optics.

The installation consisted of (64) TRAC Series fixtures and poles. These luminaries were positioned throughout the entire apartment complex of 5.12 acres, and 165 units.

The versatile product line allowed architects to choose different fixture sizes and mounting variations to create the perfect living environment for their guests.
